Could you please introduce yourself?
Hello, I'm Kim Yewon, a junior designer at Shyman who just turned 20.
I heard that you also majored in design in high school.
Yes! I majored in design since high school, developing my skills and creativity. I studied various fields such as graphic design, illustration, and web design, aiming to become a versatile designer.
Weren't you uncomfortable with unmanned adult products?
I didn't have any discomfort about unmanned adult product stores. I'm more interested in whether my designs are helpful to the customers visiting Xiamen. And the category of adult products, being unconventional and unique, actually makes work enjoyable for me.

What was the most rewarding experience you've had working at Shyman?
Despite my lack of experience and young age, I haven't taken the lead on projects yet. However, it's been fulfilling when my colleagues and franchise owners appreciate and praise the work I've created. I felt especially gratified when the May event poster I collaborated on with Manager Narae received positive feedback, and even increased sales for the event. It made me really happy.
"What is your dream, Team Leader?
While it may seem like a big dream, I also have a great interest in using my design to exert social influence and bring about positive change. Therefore, I want to overcome prejudice and taboos regarding adult products and contribute to ShaiEdu, a new business venture in sexual education that our company is preparing. Through this, I hope to develop the adult products industry in a healthier and more inclusive direction.

Even though I lack social experience, I'm confident that I have the highest level of empathy and understanding for the MZ generation, who frequently visit our Xiamen. With this understanding as a foundation, I will create more valuable design materials to help Xiamen thrive even more. Thank you.
